ANIMAL / PET POLICY
Pets are permitted at select properties managed by Eastern Edge Property Management. As animals can impact neighboring residents and homes, all residents are fully responsible for the care, supervision, and behavior of their pets/animals at all times.
Each household is limited to a maximum of two (2) approved pets. No pet may be brought onto the premises without prior written approval from management following completion of a pet interview and submission of all required documentation.
PET/ANIMAL REQUIREMENTS
Residents and Applicants must provide:

— Compliance with all state and local ordinances

— Proper canine licensing per local regulations
Spaying or neutering is strongly recommended.
PET DEPOSITS AND RENTS
Mature Weight Determination
All weight limits and fee categories are based on the pet’s estimated mature weight, not the pet’s current weight at the time of application or move-in. Eastern Edge Property Management reserves the right to require veterinary documentation or breed verification to determine a pet’s estimated mature weight. If a pet exceeds the approved weight category at maturity, additional deposits, pet rent, or removal of the animal may be required.

Caged Pets
Animals must remain fully caged at all times, Cages must include a solid base and debris tray, Bedding must be changed regularly to prevent odor, Animals may not be bred on the premises

Hamsters & Guinea Pigs

Aquarium and Terrarium Pets
Enclosures must be secure and escape-proof, Tanks must not exceed ten (10) gallons, No free-roaming permitted, Residents are responsible for all moisture-related or surface damage.
Turtles and Frogs

Lizards

Fish

PROHIBITED PETS /ANIMALS
The following animals are not permitted under any circumstances, regardless of size, age, or prior ownership history:
These animals present heightened risks related to property damage, odor, sanitation, noise, escape, infestation, or insurance restrictions

— Rats or mice (including fancy or feeder varieties)

— Any animal prohibited by local, state, or federal law
Any animal considered venomous, poisonous, dangerous, illegal, or exotic
BREED RESTRICTIONS
In accordance with Malheur County Restricted Breed Ordinance the following dog breeds are restricted:
Any uncertainty about the breed of a dog is to be determined by a duly licensed and qualified veterinarian at the expense of the keeper.

PET/ANIMAL RULES
Pets/Animals:

May not be tied, tethered, or left unattended outdoors

Waste must be immediately removed and disposed of

May not disturb the peaceful enjoyment of others or create a nuisance

Must be led away from patio/walkway/living areas to relieve themselves

Must be leashed at all times while outside

An inspection will be conducted approximately six (6) months into the tenancy

SERVICE, EMOTIONAL SUPPORT & COMPANION ANIMALS
Service animals, emotional support animals, and companion animals are welcome in accordance with applicable law.
These animals are not considered pets and are exempt from breed restrictions, pet deposits, and monthly pet rent.
Documentation may be required when the disability or need is not readily apparent.
